The Volunteer Drivers Scheme uses volunteers with their own vehicles to provide transport for local residents who have difficulty in accessing medical related services. Viewcraft meets at Herstmonceux Village Hall on a Tuesday 10 – 12am and is a group for the visually impaired to get together and enjoy craft-making such as mosaics, woodcarving, basket weaving, crochet, knitting etc. Could you provide transport and stay to help? Contact 01323 505764

The Pentanque Club currently meets on Sunday 11am – 1pm, Tuesday 11am – 1pm, Wednesday 2-4pm and Fridays 1.30-3.30 although times may vary in the summer. If you are able to car share and transport others please get in touch with Dave Chubb on 01323 645120

The British Red Cross Carers Support Service needs volunteers to support carers and the person they care for by offering a short term companionship and sitting service and other support such as light housework, meal preparation and shopping, dog-walking, assisting with form completion or paperwork, walking with or offering encouragement and motivation to someone exercising on return from hospital, accessing the community and signposting to other organisations.
